Ingredients
- Beef short ribs
- Onion
- Celery
- Carrot
- Garlic
- Miso
- Beef stock
- Star Anise
- Cloves
- Apple (to serve)
Method
- Marinate beef ribs in miso paste.
- Pan seal and add to the slow cooker.
- Caramelise some onion, celery, carrot, garlic. Deglaze with soya and add to slow cooker.
- Add a little water or stock, star anise and cloves.
- Cook for 3 hours or until tender.
- Serve with steamed rice and grated apple.
